While aligned with the global NEWH mission and values, NEWH Canada Inc. is governed independently and operates in accordance with Canadian nonprofit regulations. The Organization supports education, scholarships, leadership, and professional connection within Canada’s hospitality and adjacent industries.
NEWH Canada works collaboratively with NEWH Inc. to maintain shared standards, programming alignment, and cross-border connection, while ensuring local governance, financial oversight, and compliance remain specific to the Canadian context.
Together, NEWH Canada Inc. and NEWH Inc. support a strong, connected hospitality network that reflects both global perspective and regional leadership.
NEWH is supported by a dedicated staff team who ensure the Organization operates with clarity, consistency, and care across regions.
Working alongside volunteer leadership, NEWH staff provide continuity, operational expertise, and strategic support for chapters, boards, partners, and members worldwide. From scholarships and education to events, communications, finance, and membership, the staff team helps translate NEWH’s mission into day-to-day action.
This group is responsible for keeping programs moving, standards aligned, and systems functioning so that volunteers can focus on leadership, connection, and impact. While NEWH is proudly volunteer-led, it is staff-supported, ensuring the Organization remains professional, accountable, and scalable as it grows.
