Art of Floors – Remote position
Art of Floors has an immediate opening for Designer. Experience in flooring design is a plus.
Duties:
- Creating design packages for clients based on art direction
- Color matching art
- Sample templating
- Putting all samples on template to scale and size review with senior designer
- Creating yarn card as needed
- Scaling/flooding designs into design plans
- Recoloring of CADs based off client art direction
- Simple project edits such as scale, cropping, color edits, design changes
- Creating task lists and managing their daily tasks
- Communicating to manager on project timelines
- Sit in on, or conduct client meetings, taking notes for follow up
Cad Work
- Able to work in Photoshop and Illustrator and Adobe- Skills must include
- Understanding of index color, PNG/BMP/TIFF files
- Working in Vector- creating shapes, drawing, and creating a design in vector
- Understanding PX and clipping masks, patterns
- Using these skills to:
- Creating new designs as needed for projects
- Creating new patterns that would be added to website based on need
- Editing/cleaning up exiting CADs
Project Management
- Tracking and managing all their projects assigned this includes:
- Adding new projects onto the task lists
- Tracking new project key dates (install, meetings due dates)
- Creating a timeline for install
- Updating status of their projects ( as project progress)
- Tracking all assigned projects samples from vendor to client
- Communicating timeframe to client for packages/samples/yarn cards
- Following up on shipping/tracking of samples/Yarn Cards to clients
