We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, charismatic and ambitious Independent Sales Agent to support the expansion of our leading UK contemporary contract furniture business into the US hospitality sector. You will use your existing client and contact network within architecture and interior design – as well as our own fast developing prospect list – to find and convert sales, with marketing, design and pricing support from our London-based team. You will work flexibly and autonomously as the primary contact for our business in the US (dovetailing this alongside other hospitality industry sales work) enabling you to maximise the return on your time.

You will be rewarded with a generous uncapped commission package.


We are a leading London-based supplier and manufacturer of furniture for the hospitality industry looking to expand our reach further into the US market. Our client base includes interior designers, architects and project managers working on hospitality projects such as hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, and universities all over the world. Our relationships with Europe’s best workshops and factories, with reputations for outstanding craftsmanship, enable us to offer the US market the very latest in design-led, quality products with a European influence, differing to those already available within the US itself.

We work with global businesses including Hilton Hotels, Krispy Kreme, AMEX and McDonalds, alongside prestigious UK-based businesses such as Heathrow Airport Lounges, The Shard (London), Wimbledon, Fortnum & Mason, The British Museum, and Cambridge University, to name but a few.

Key role responsibilities:

  1. Identifying new business opportunities amongst new and existing clients
  2. Being the main point of contact in agreed US territories between key clients and internal UK teams (Sales, Production, Design and Marketing)
  3. Creating and pitching presentations to current and potential new clients with support from the London based Design & Marketing team.
  4. Liaising with clients and suppliers before, during and after sales process is completed
  5. Arranging face to face client appointments either on site, at clients’ premises or in a selected showroom (on suitably qualified leads)
  6. Maintaining and updating relevant information on our CRM system

Skills/Experience required

  1. Proven sales track record within the B2B hospitality industry with a strong ability to close sales
  2. A passion for great design
  3. Outstanding communication skills (spoken & written)
  4. Ability to learn quickly and retain vital information
  5. Experience of using a CRM system (preferably on a Sugar based CRM)
  6. Ability to multitask and ability to prioritise tasks
  7. To travel frequently within the US and on occasion to the UK


  1. Generous results-driven uncapped commission package
  2. Our contracts range from 5,000 USD to 100,000 USD so a typical commission will be 4,000 USD for an average 40,000 USD project
  3. Travel expenses covered & for attending relevant networking and industry events such as trade shows
  4. Full support from our London Head Office as follows:
    • Sales team on hand to assist with product information, pricing and training as required.
    • Design team on hand to assist with 3D AR designs, space planning and presentations.
    • Marketing team on hand to assist with targeted campaigns, mailing lists and social media drives
