Position Summary

Local Language is seeking experienced Independent Multi-Line Sales Representatives to represent our brand in key hospitality markets. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with an art consulting or custom fabrication firm and understands the creative, collaborative, and highly customized nature of our work.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Local Language to hospitality designers, ownership groups, brands, and developers
  • Leverage established regional relationships to identify and secure new project opportunities
  • Introduce and communicate Local Language’s custom art consulting and fabrication capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams during pursuits, presentations, and proposal development
  • Act as a brand ambassador within your territory and at industry events
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients as needed throughout the lifecycle of each project—from initial pursuit through development, production, and final delivery—to help guide the process and support a successful outcome

Qualifications

  • Required: Previous experience working with an art company (consulting, art fabrication) or similarly custom creative firm
  • Strong understanding of fully custom, non-catalog sales processes
  • Established hospitality and design industry contacts within the assigned region
  • Experience selling into hotels, resorts, and commercial hospitality and/or healthcare projects
  • Self-motivated, organized, and rigorously detail oriented – our bespoke process is complex

  • Has successfully represented creative, highly custom products or services
  • Is comfortable selling ideas, process, and creative vision—not SKUs
  • Values long-term relationships and collaboration over transactional sales
  • Is excited to represent a distinctive, design-forward brand in hospitality

Compensation

  • Independent contractor, commission-based compensation
  • Percentage and structure commensurate with experience and territory
