Position: National Account Manager – Hospitality Sales

Felix Storch, Inc (Summit Appliances) is a leading specialty appliance manufacturer with a line of products devoted to the hospitality channel. We now offer one of the most complete lines of room refrigerators, appliances for extended stay suites, executive lounges, breakfast rooms and hotel safes. Our growth in this channel, plus a host of new products has created an opportunity for us to consolidate our sales and marketing activities under the newly created position of Senior account manager for National Sales.

The individual selected will:

  • Use your industry knowledge to call on all major hotel chains and create awareness of our appliances and have them specified and added to approved lists.
  • Take over the account responsibility for our existing hospitality business with several dozen major accounts.
  • Strengthen relationships with key decision makers within the hospitality industry
  • Develop a strategy, using our company’s resources, to reach appropriate independent and boutique hotels and hospitality related users outside the hotel industry, including assisted living, corporate, government and staff housing.
  • Work with senior management to identify new products that can expand sales to existing customers within the channel.
  • Track and submit proposals for renovations and new construction where appliances will be used.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience selling any products into the hospitality channel on a national level (experience in major appliances is not essential)
  • Relationships with buyers and decision makers at the corporate level for major hotel chains
  • A broad knowledge of the hospitality industry, including hotel architects, builders, owners, franchisees, operators and procurement companies.
  • Knowledge of industry trade shows, periodicals and communications practices.
  • A four-year college degree

Felix Storch, Inc is a privately-owned, second-generation family run business, celebrating our 55th anniversary next year. We are located in the Bronx, NY with facilities in NJ and CT. This position will work with our staff of internal sales professionals and our marketing department. The position is largely hands on with some national travel (estimated at 10 to 20%). Preference will be given to candidates able to work from our NY office, but we will consider candidates with home offices and the right experience.

Compensation is expected to be in the range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, with a meaningful bonus opportunity for success.
