Maison Hospitality Furnishings – Remote position

Maison Hospitality Furnishings is currently looking to fill the full-time position of Project Manager.

This is a remote position. Established industry expertise is preferred.

Summary:

The Project Manager is a position that provides support to the sales team, clients, and operations team through efficient management of furniture related projects in the Hospitality Design Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively communicates via phone and email with President, VP of Sales, Outside Sales Agents, Client, and other internal operations focused employees.
  • Manages client focused projects related to the order, manufacturer, and supply of custom furniture including casegoods and seating.
  • Manages timelines for quoting, production of model room and sample pieces, production scheduling, drawing management, drawing sign-off, and scheduling of shipping.
  • Actively manages projects using company used software and project management tools while keeping accurate notes within the CRM system.
  • Manages key documents including Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Quotes, Invoices, and Acknowledgements including the creation, distribution, and record keeping of these documents within the company CRM and ERP systems.
  • Provides project updates at internal and external meetings.
  • Provides weekly reports to internal management team and outside sales agents on actively managed projects

Minimum Requirements:

  • This position requires a very strong attention to detail, the ability to focus and follow-through on multiple projects, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a project coordinator or project manager within the furniture industry, ideally with a focus on hospitality or related industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate in a business manner with clients, internal employees, and outside sales agents during phone conversations and in person.
  • Experience and ability to review CAD drawings and engineered drawings with technical mindset and high attention to detail reviewing changes, mark-ups, and technical details.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited information exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • This position requires knowledge of working with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Gmail, CRM systems and internet browsers.
  • Ability to use Project Management software required.
  • Ability to use drafting software a plus but not required.
  • 4 Year Degree Preferred
