NARDI’s colorful and comfortable selection of tables, chairs and sun loungers is perfect for both residential and commercial settings. NARDI’s product history is rooted in polypropylene, a thermoplastic resin that forms the basis of most of its products. In addition to polypropylene, NARDI explores original materials such as aluminum, synthetic fabric, and glass – and most recently, post-consumer and post-industrial recycled polypropylene.

Position Summary:
The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day sales activities to grow with existing and new accounts. This position reports to the VP of Sales, and will likely be focusing on retail channel sales opportunities for NARDI.
The team member in this role will serve as a brand ambassador and will understand product selection, order fulfillment, and after-sales service processes to best determine customer needs and requirements. This team member will also aid in inventory management, and will help the sales/marketing team execute key strategic projects.
This person will also liaise with the team of independent sales reps across the country that sell our brands, and will be activity involved in trade shows (including preparation and follow up) throughout the year.
There is also opportunity for this candidate to take on social media and marketing responsibilities, if interested.

Responsibilities:
- Respond and actively reach out to leads to provide brand & product information
- Take primary ownership in proactively managing and advancing our brand’s catalogs on ecommerce sites, understanding best practices and making continuous improvements to improve sell-through
- Create and update profiles for leads in CRM/ERP system, as appropriate
- Introduce prospects to respective sales representatives, as applicable, and support respective sales representatives with meeting / appointment preparation
- Understand each of our product lines, particularly the NARDI line, with proficiency to answer product questions
- Understand changing needs and differing types of verticals
- Conduct light market/competitive research, as applicable, to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with customer service and support staff
- Provide trade show support (4-6 shows per year, incl. preparation in advance of shows)
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
- Willingness to travel up to 10-15% of the time (trade shows, potential factory visits, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years customer service or sales experience in B2B environment
- Strong focus on teamwork
- Strong customer-oriented mindset
- Outstanding writing & communication skills
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Strong attention to details
- Highly flexible work attitude and ability to pivot quickly between various tasks
- Ability to handle, manage, and prioritize competing demands
- CRM/ERP knowledge – HubSpot knowledge preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity working with large datasets and comfort with Excel functions and tools including but not limited to: Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Index Match, etc.
- Experience working with distribution partners and/or in the furniture industry is a plus
- Italian language skills a plus
