The Maya Romanoff New York Showroom Manager is responsible for managing showroom sales, the operations and financial success of the showroom and maintaining an atmosphere of service excellence. This position reports to the Global Sales Director.

Roles & Responsibilities:

These responsibilities include inside sales, outside sales support, local marketing and promotion opportunities, and building a repeat client base of sales. The showroom manager is directly responsible for the efforts of any additional sales and administrative staff to be hired in the future, as well as developing and maintaining their own sales accounts.

The showroom manager is responsible for optimizing the showroom performance by identifying business opportunities and initiatives to improve sales. They will be knowledgeable and aware of the market trend and competitors, analyzing and recommending areas for business growth and improved sales.

  • Manage all daily aspects of running a showroom
  • Communicate with internal and external clients regarding (but not limited to) order status, pricing, sample requests, delivery confirmations, stock inquiries, and installations.
  • Handles processing of the Showroom Sales, including, but not limited to, follow-up, quote generation, and closing sales
  • Process orders, reserves and quotes to assigned territory.
  • Coordinates and manages visual merchandising with Marketing Team, maintains wings, display boards/collateral and overall aesthetics throughout the showroom.
  • Generates and coordinates showroom events with Marketing Team
  • Oversees showroom maintenance and upkeep, cleaning, ordering supplies
  • Continual CRM input and data management
  • Maintain high service standards, create a positive client experience, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Process tasks and resolve issues in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
  • Maintain territory’s open opportunities using CRM software, running regular reports and log all calls and communications per department policy.
  • Regularly submits D&D marketing
  • Perform regular territory sales reports and analysis to sales team in collaboration with NY Territory Sales Representative
  • Participate in weekly Check-in meeting and Monthly Management meeting
  • Work with Marketing Manager and Global Sales Director to help influence sales
  • Managing, analyzing, and communicating required monthly reports on showroom traffic, sampling, etc.
  • Handle Incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Work directly with clientele and follow up to ensure all needs are met and takes priority.
  • Adhering to all company procedures and policies
  • Representing the company’s best interests in their individual actions
  • Any special projects and additional duties as assigned by manager or Maya Romanoff leadership

  • Minimum 3 years management and sales record
  • The ideal candidate should possess proven sales success, coupled with design experience and excellent communication skills. A degree in interior design or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in high-end design sales professional preferred. Experience managing an upscale showroom is favorable.
  • Prior experience at the D&D preferred.
