The Showroom Sales Associate will be a full-time position devoted to cultivating client relationships and bringing their flooring visions to life, whether the client is a designer, contractor, developer, or homeowner. We are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic about beautiful design, but also comfortable meeting the needs of flooring professionals. This position reports to the A&D Business Development Manager.

Position Description – Showroom Sales Associate:

  • Assist showroom clients in finding the perfect flooring option, providing design/color consultation as well as technical guidance
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized showroom
  • Become an expert in all of our product lines, staying up-to-date on all changes, drops, and new product introductions
  • Plan and coordinate special events in the showroom, such as parties and educational seminars
  • Organize and maintain the sample library
  • Provide budget pricing appropriate to the customer type, being careful to protect the needs of our core customers
  • Participate in weekly check in meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls
  • Manage the appointment calendar
  • Assist Outside Salespeople with their urgent sample needs
  • Assist in refining the ongoing design and layout of the showroom

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of either sales or design experience
  • Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or flooring industry a plus
  • College graduate preferred
  • Superior communication and organization skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Keen eye for design and creativity
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to follow safety and security standards


  • Competitive hourly wage, dependent on experience
