About the Position

The Custom Project Coordinator is an invaluable member of our Custom Studio, the team responsible for bringing our clients’ design vision to life. The person in this role supports the Program Development Lead by managing custom textile sampling, communicating with suppliers and internal departments, and accurately entering, updating, and tracking project information. This position offers a fast-paced, varied, and hands-on opportunity to play a part in delivering high-quality custom textile products for hotel brand programs worldwide.

You thrive in a role that provides the right mix of collaboration and independence, time-sensitive and long-term projects, and computer-based and hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and track project data in CRM.
  • Communicate and follow up with suppliers and internal team on project and product information and status.
  • Understand supplier capabilities and develop sourcing relationships with key mills to facilitate projects.
  • Cut, label, ship, and follow up on fabric samples.
  • Maintain physical and digital project files.
  • Manage custom archives.
  • Liaise with the product development team to stay up-to-date on the in-line product pipeline.
  • Assist with in-line product development as workload allows, including Smartsheet database updates, organizing fabric samples, and suggesting custom products to add to the line.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management software, preferably Salesforce
  • 1-3 years in a product development or project management role

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Woven and print textile knowledge
  • An understanding of contract textile product performance guidelines

Work Schedule and Location:

Full-time hybrid schedule includes four days in the office and one remote work day.

Salary:

$55,000-$70,000; The salary offered will be dependent upon selected candidate’s level of skill and experience relevant to the position. This position is eligible for an end of year, performance-based discretionary bonus
