Reactivate Your Membership ↓You have been part of NEWH before, and that history counts. Rejoining puts you back in your local chapter and the global network of over 8,000 hospitality professionals, with full access to education, leadership, and the people you have worked alongside.
Choose the membership that fits where you are now. It may be the same tier you held before, or a different one if your career has moved on since.
NEWH holds your membership for six months after it expires. During that window you keep your member portal access and can renew directly, and your standing carries over.
After six months, your membership fully lapses and your access to the member portal ends. To return, submit a new application below. Your application goes to your chapter for review and a vote, the same step every returning member takes. This is a formality that keeps chapters connected to who is joining them, not a barrier to coming back.

For Individuals
For Working Professionals
For professionals who have been working in hospitality or a related field for one or more years. Global Professional is the foundation of NEWH. It includes full member access, voting rights, leadership eligibility, and the ability to serve on chapter boards and committees.
Rejoining returns you to your local chapter and the global NEWH network. Your membership is valid to attend events at member rate around the world.
For Recent Graduates
For professionals who have completed accredited hospitality-related studies within the last 12 months. Associate Membership is your bridge between school and a full professional career, available for three years following graduation.
It returns you to chapter events, scholarships, committee participation, and the NEWH network. When your three years are up, you will be eligible to move to Global Professional Membership.

For Retired Professionals
Retired Membership is for long-standing NEWH members who have retired from full-time work in the hospitality industry. It is a way to stay connected to the community and the people you have worked alongside throughout your career.
Your years in the industry are an asset to NEWH. Retired members contribute by mentoring emerging professionals, sharing their experience, and staying engaged with the chapters and programs they helped build.
Retired Membership is offered at half the regular Global Professional dues rate.

For Enrolled Students Complimentary
Open to students enrolled in accredited programs in hospitality, interior design, architecture, and related disciplines. Student Membership is your first connection to the professional world before you graduate.
It gives you access to chapter events, scholarship applications, and a network of professionals invested in your career. Upon graduation, you will receive one complimentary year of Associate Membership to support your transition into the industry.
