Allezboo Group delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Hijaaz Latheef as the new General Manager of Allezboo Resort & Spa, effective 1st November 2017. Having previously worked in hotels in Vietnam, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia, Hijaaz’s prior position was as General Manager for the Absolute Hotel Services-managed U Sapa Hotel in Vietnam.
Sri Lankan native Hijaaz has an MSc. in Hospitality Management from Halifax University and is a graduate of the Ceylon Hotel School and School of Tourism and Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). This is the most prestigious certification available to any hotel GM, given by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in the U.S.A. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality in the U.K.
Given his 25+ years of hospitality experience and senior management positions for several of the world’s leading service and hospitality providers, Hijaaz’s background makes him ideal for his new position. His dedication and creativity will serve to improve the existing offerings of the Allezboo Resort & Sapa.
