Multiple award-winning ID Hall of Fame designer Clodagh is the founder and CEO of the international design studio, Clodagh Design. When she was 17, she started a couture fashion salon in Dublin that quickly grew to become both a couture and a ready-to-wear international company. It was then that she first became deeply involved in international licensing programs, reaching as many segments of the consumer public as possible. In the 1970's she started practicing interior and landscape design in Spain, where she opened a retail store. In the '80's Clodagh moved to New York City and opened an international design studio as well as a retail store, Clodagh Ross+ Williams with two partners. The store celebrated the best in furniture and design.
In the design world and beyond, she has focused on sustainable, green design and wellness for many years, bringing it to the forefront of the industry. She is known for the beautiful, calming designs she and her team have created for the Six Senses, Hyatt World Class Spas as well as three Miravals: Miraval Arizona, Miraval Austin and Miraval Berkshires, not to mention hotels such as East Miami, The W in Fort Lauderdale and many more. She also designs private high-end luxury residences, multi-family buildings, restaurants, furniture, accessories, logos, rugs, fabrics, landscaping, yachts and even private jets. Her international and ever-expanding licensees and collaborators include top corporations that produce Clodagh Collections for, among others, bathroom and kitchen designs, fixtures, lighting, outdoor furniture, flooring, massage tables/loungers, wall covering and textiles.
Clodagh has been honored for her various philanthropic endeavors. She is the Co-Founder and Board Member of the non-profit, The Thorn Tree Project, which educates 1700 children in the Samburu tribe in northern Kenya.
Clodagh has been named to the AD 100 and as one of the top ten designers in the world by the Robb Report. She is an avid traveler and photographer who had her first solo photographic exhibition at New York City’s Cheryl Hazan Gallery in 2019.
