In 2011 NEWH revamped its Regional Group program. There are many areas that do not have enough Hospitality Industry people to support an NEWH Chapter. The Regional Group is the ideal answer for those areas. For a group to start out, we only require 15 voting members. In lieu of a Board of Directors, the Regional Group is run by a five-person Steering Committee which is to meet quarterly.
Regional Groups will be able to give a minimum of $2,500 in scholarships each year. 50% of Regional Group Members dues go directly into a scholarship fund to ensure funding. Regional Members should be proud of their direct give-back to the industry!
