Maria Victoria Rodriguez
Hi, my name is Maria Victoria Rodriguez, and I am the 2025 scholarship award winner of the South Carolina Chapter. I’m majoring in Culinary Arts at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach, which is part of Horry Georgetown Technical College. I also work as a line cook at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club. I’ve been working in the hospitality industry for over three years, but it wasn’t until a year ago that I discovered my true passion for the kitchen.
This scholarship provided me with financial relief, allowing me to focus more on my studies and professional development and I hope that one day I can provide similar support to others in the industry.
