For the past five years she has contributed to the board + looks forward to serving as VP Admin to showcase her fondness for students.

Ashley, NCIDQ & FL ID Certified, started her career in the Washington D.C./ Metro area with a focus on hospitality design. Her passion for travel and design have driven her to pursue multi-disciplines throughout her career, including Hotels, Restaurants, Luxury Apartments, and Cruise Ships. Ashley can be found working as the Studio Director for IIG’s South Florida design Team. She spearheads design concepts, FF&E selections, and overall project management and deliverables. Her goal is to keep the client’s unique vision and needs a priority throughout the design process, while having fun & mentoring junior designers on her team.

Prior to joining the hospitality industry, Jennifer received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami with a double major in Business Management and Legal Studies. In pursuit of what she felt was the ideal career path for such a major, she worked as a Law Firm Administrator for over 11 years. In 2014, Jennifer decided to change her path for a more creative and trend-setting industry when she joined EoA (Edge of Architecture) as its Director of Operations. She has sense never looked back and truly enjoys all of the amazing industry professionals and creative souls that she is able to interact with on a daily basis. Jennifer is currently the South Florida Chapter Treasurer and is in her 7th year on the NEWH Board.

Currently holds the title of NEWH South Florida Chapters’ Past President / Parliamentarian. Carolina is also the Regional Director of Business Development in Florida for TileBar. TileBar is a direct importer of porcelain and ceramic tiles, natural stone & LVT.

Her responsibilities include growing market share with interior designers, architects, builders & developers throughout the residential & hospitality channels. Stacey has 15+ years of Specification Sales experience with various roles serving the A&D community.

Stacey has been actively involved local chapter associations such as; ASID, NKBA & NEWH. She has chaired many positions from Secretary, Membership, VP of Programming, VP of Development. Stacey is currently serving her role as Executive Advisor of the South Florida NEWH. Her innate ability in these diverse positions has allowed her to give back to the educational community, maintain & nature working her relationships and the opportunity to meet some really great people she considers friends.

Stacey resides in Hollywood, Florida with her family. Her greatest accomplishment she considers is her three children; Austin, Alexandria and Ashley. When not working, Stacey spends her free time enjoying her family & friend’s, outdoor sports activities, teaching her cycle fitness classes & thoroughly loves cooking.

She is absolutely fascinated by Art and Architecture and have maintained my Interior Design license (as well as my Florida Educator’s license) for many years – vowing to stay true to my passion(s). Amy is very active within the design community. She participates in events and support colleague education by delivering the required CEU credits needed for Licensure Renewal. Her passion is Rockfon, Architecture and of course… NEWH!

Keith started in the hospitality field in 1999 as an independent manufacturer’s representative. His tenacity, curiosity and honest approach allowed him to quickly grow the business. Today KM-Associates represents some of the top names in the hospitality industry. Keith’s extensive product knowledge and ability to navigate fast-paced environments has cultivated strong relationships with key design firms, purchasing agents and hotel owners. Keith embraces the day-to-day challenges and is an expert at streamlining the design and specifying process. Keith received his Master’s Degree in Finance from Barry University.

Eric, born and raised in Miami has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and contract furniture industry. He is a territory manager for C2C Designs. He brings a plethora of design, manufacturing, and sales experience to the NEWH board. He loves traveling as his job, as well as building relationships with his clients. in his personal life he loves to do any type of outdoor activities including tennis, riding bike, and going to the beach. Eric is also a proud veteran of the US Army.

Lisbeth Linert is the Director of Business Development at Clive Daniel. She holds several certifications, including a master’s degree in Interior Design from Florida International University, Florida Interior Design Registration, Fitwel Ambassador, NCIDQ certificate holder, and Certified Aging-in-place Designation (CAPS). She is also very active in the interior design community as both a volunteer and mentor. She sits on the COVID-19 taskforce for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), she is a board member of the South Florida Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) as the VP of Advocacy, a student mentor for the Interior Design Education Council (IDEC), and a board member of the South Florida Chapter of Network of Executive Women In Hospitality (NEWH) as the Director of Programs.

Ms. Linert’s appointment follows a successful three-year tenure as Director of Marketing and Workplace Strategist at JC White, as well as six years owning her own interior design business and five years as an Interior Design Professor at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Miami

With a bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Interior Design, Stella decided to move to South Florida from New York City to pursue her master’s degree in Interior Architecture. That is when she became familiar with Southern Hospitality and NEWH. After a few years in the industry, Stella realized that the best way to learn, grow and connect was by networking. Since then, she has enjoyed being part of the design community and looks forward to the many opportunities the South Florida industry has to offer.

Aura is an Industrial Designer who started her Journey in the Hospitality Industry working for the Hotels Chain Sandals & Beaches Resorts. Right before COVID-19 Joined The Royal Caribbean Group. Unfortunately, it lasted very little as it was the most affected industry. Today she is co-founder of a movement called “Live By Design”.

She currently serves as the Director of Marketing for the NEWH South Florida Chapter Board.

Amalia Morejon has been part of the board since 2017. As a student rep. her main goal is to aid students to achieve their career goals with the scholarships’ financial aid. During her High school’s Senior year, she decided to study Interior Design. This career has fueled her passion for helping others, as Interior Design is a career where creativity can influence the lives of those who experience it.

She graduated in May 2019 from Miami Dade College with an Arts Associate in Interior Design. As a part of her college experience she volunteered on several events from NEWH and IIDA. Now, she’s pursuing a Master’s of interior design at FIU. Amalia’s transition through the industry has always involved giving back to the community. The community that has given her many opportunities of which she is extremely grateful of.

Graduating from Miami Killian Senior High School he received a scholarship to continue his baseball skills at Elon University in North Carolina. Upon his return to South Florida, he joined his family business bringing to the blend his energetic spirit and love for the world of design. Chris works not only with the local Architect and Design firms but with national franchise accounts throughout the United States. When he is not promoting the latest and the greatest in the tile world, you can find Chris playing sports, painting, and spending time with his family and always looking for opportunities to give back in some way to the community he calls home.
