Carolina was born into the field of design & construction; which carved the path into her career. During high school she worked as an associate at a local tile & stone showroom. Shortly after high school she advanced to managing their New York City showroom. Her passion for the industry grew and enrolled in college to become an interior designer. In 2015 she decided move to Florida to be closer to her immediate family. To proceed with her career & establish new roots she got involved with local chapters in our field and was introduced to NEWH. Instantly hooked, she got heavily involved and a few years later is now the VP of Admin on the Board of Directors. The most beneficial & unexpected benefit of being a part of NEWH has been the amazing relationships created of life long friends.

Gabe Rodriguez, NCIDQ Interior Designer, is multi-disciplined with experience in workplace, hospitality, health & wellness, and senior living. He bridges the design and technical roles of projects to deliver high quality, high design spaces for his clients. He has a Masters in Interior Architecture from Florida International University. Passionate about giving back and making a difference in our design community he is currently serving as the VP of Administration.

Annette Lucille began her hospitality career in operations with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in beautiful Seattle, WA. Her commitment towards creativity led her to attend the Art Institute studying interior design while simultaneously studying wine. Development company Wischermann Partners, Inc moved her from Seattle to Minneapolis where she was mentored as a project manager; renovating + building new properties within the portfolio. Recently, she started working with the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality woven carpets – Brinton’s as a commercial sales executive + now resides in South Florida. NEWH has played a major role in her life. Annette has enjoyed the opportunity to plug into multiple chapter events starting back as a student + today amongst business travel in addition serving on the board for almost four years.

Marilynn studied fashion merchandising and business at Indiana University. After several years in the fashion industry, she made the switch in 2013 to sales as a hospitality design rep. She now has a strong passion for the world of interior design, and recently relocated to South Florida after 9 years in NYC. Being on the board of NEWH has allowed her to give back to the community while forming great relationships in the industry.

Anastasia “Stacey” Davis is the Showroom Sales Account Manager for legrand representing the adorne & Radiant Collections. Her responsibilities include growing market share with interior designers, architects, builders & developers throughout the residential & hospitality channels. Stacey has 15+ years of Specification Sales experience with various roles serving the A&D community.

Stacey has been actively involved local chapter associations such as; ASID, NKBA & NEWH. She has chaired many positions from Secretary, Membership, VP of Programming, VP of Development. Stacey is currently serving her role as President of the South Florida NEWH. Her innate ability in these diverse positions has allowed her to give back to the educational community, maintain & nature working her relationships and the opportunity to meet some really great people she considers friends.

Stacey resides in Hollywood, Florida with her family. Her greatest accomplishment she considers is her three children; Austin, Alexandria and Ashley. When not working, Stacey spends her free time enjoying her family & friend’s, outdoor sports activities, teaching her cycle fitness classes & thoroughly loves cooking.

Prior to joining the hospitality industry, Jennifer received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami with a double major in Business Management and Legal Studies. In pursuit of what she felt was the ideal career path for such a major, she worked as a Law Firm Administrator for over 11 years. In 2014, Jennifer decided to change her path for a more creative and trend-setting industry when she joined EoA (Edge of Architecture) as it’s Director of Operations. She has sense never looked back and truly enjoys all of the amazing industry professionals and creative souls that she is able to interact with on a daily basis. Jennifer is currently the South Florida Chapter Past President and is in her 5th year on the NEWH Board.

Known as ‘Neumann’, Amy has been a part of the world of Architecture for over twenty years. She is absolutely fascinated by Art and Architecture and have maintained my Interior Design license (as well as my Florida Educator’s license) for many years – vowing to stay true to my passion(s). Amy is very active within the design community. She participates in events and support colleague education by delivering the required CEU credits needed for Licensure Renewal. Her passion is Rockfon, Architecture and of course… NEWH!

Amalia Morejon has been part of the board since 2017. This year, she became the chapter’s student ambassador; her main goal as the student ambassador is to aid students to achieve their career goals with the scholarships’ financial aid. During her High school’s Senior year, she decided to study Interior Design. This career has fueled her passion for helping others, as Interior Design is a career where creativity can influence the lives of those who experience it.

She graduated in May 2019 from Miami Dade College with Arts Associate in Interior Design. As a part of her college experience she volunteered on several events from NEWH and IIDA. Now, she’s working as a project assistant at Stantec. There, Amalia is building her knowledge in the interior design industry. Her transition in the industry has always involved giving back to the community. The community that has given her many opportunities of which she is extremely grateful of.

Keith started in the hospitality field in 1999 as an independent manufacturer’s representative. His tenacity, curiosity and honest approach allowed him to quickly grow the business. Today KM-Associates represents some of the top names in the hospitality industry. Keith’s extensive product knowledge and ability to navigate fast-paced environments has cultivated strong relationships with key design firms, purchasing agents and hotel owners. Keith embraces the day-to-day challenges and is an expert at streamlining the design and specifying process. Keith received his Master’s Degree in Finance from Barry University.

Domonique Carey is a Contracted Interior Designer. She attended The University of Florida where she received her bachelor’s in interior design. Domonique was born and raised in Florida, but she has Jamaican roots from her father’s side. He has influenced her passion for design since she was a little girl being on various work sites with him.

Domonique has always loved design and had a passion for the built world around us. Domonique grew up knowing the foundation of design and what it takes to create an inviting space. She wants to always create spaces that captivate the essences of what design means to her.

Domonique strives for discovering new things, growing as an individual and as a designer who pushes her designs to the next level. She feels design is more than the aesthetic characteristics of space, but the bridge that unites vibrancy and comfort, to purpose and functionality.

Outside of work, Domonique enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her puppy Coach. When she is not spending time with her loved ones, Domonique is relaxing with a good book or watching her favorite TV shows/Movies. Domonique feels designs should impact the world we live in!
