Jennifer Delmas

Past President/Parliamentarian

Prior to joining the hospitality industry, Jennifer received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami with a double major in Business Management and Legal Studies. In pursuit of what she felt was the ideal career path for such a major, she worked as a Law Firm Administrator for over 11 years. In 2014, Jennifer decided to change her path for a more creative and trend-setting industry when she joined EoA (Edge of Architecture) as it’s Director of Operations. She has sense never looked back and truly enjoys all of the amazing industry professionals and creative souls that she is able to interact with on a daily basis. Jennifer is currently the South Florida Chapter Past President and is in her 5th year on the NEWH Board.

As a proud University of Florida alumnus, Jeanette received her degree in Public Relations with outside concentrations in Italian and Portuguese studies. As fate would have it, a casual conversation on a plane with her C2C Designs Director of Operations eventually led to a change in careers. Currently, she is a territory manager for C2C Designs, a custom furniture manufacturer, and is thrilled to be on the NEWH South Florida board— as it’s helped her better understand the industry, engage with powerhouse clients and make friends along the way!

Domonique Carey

Domonique Carey

Public Relations

Domonique Carey is a Junior Designer at V Starr Interiors. She attended The University of Florida where she received her bachelor’s in interior design. Domonique was born and raised in Florida but she has Jamaican roots from her father’s side. He has influenced her passion for design since she was a little girl being on various work sites with him. Domonique has always loved design and had a passion for the built world around us. Domonique grew up knowing the foundation of design and what it takes to create an inviting space. She wants to always create spaces that captivate the essences of what design means to her. Domonique strives for discovering new things, growing as an individual and as a designer who pushes her designs to the next level. She feels design is more than the aesthetic characteristics of space, but the bridge that unites vibrancy and comfort, to purpose and functionality.
Outside of work, Domonique enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her puppy Coach. When she is not spending time with her loved ones, Domonique is relaxing with a good book or watching her favorite TV shows/Movies. Domonique feels designs should impact the world we live in!

“You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.”
-Walt Disney
