Rebekah started her career as an interior designer 27 years ago with Goff Associates. Collectively she has had 17 years’ experience in the hotel interior design and associated leisure industry working with several London architectural interior design practices. Since returning back to work, in 2006 after a career break raising her family in West Africa, she has built on her previous experience in several more areas of this industry. Firstly, while working for Charles Leon Associates she gained a good knowledge of the UK hotel industry in general through FF&E specifying and business development. Ara design gave her experience in FF&E administration, Benjamin West procurement and more recently FF&E Design for the Cruise Industry and High-end residential projects with Adfecto Design. Rebekah is the Membership Director/Vice president for NEWH-UK. She is your contact for NEWH membership.

Libby studied Interior Architecture & Design at Middlesex University in London and began her career designing retail outlets and spas for up-market cosmetics company Molton Brown. Since then she has gained considerable experience across a broad range of commercial interiors; from cosmetic and car showrooms to libraries, education centres and restaurants.
For the last 9 years, Libby has specialized in Hospitality, designing a series of luxury hotels and resorts for both individual owners and some of the world’s leading Operators. Now a Senior Designer Project Manager at G.A Design, based in the London Office, but working internationally across all 4 offices she is responsible for overseeing 1-2 projects at a time and each project from the initial design proposal through to final on-site completion. In her spare time she enjoys going to cinema, exploring markets and takes every opportunity to travel.
After graduating with a degree in Surface decoration I was lucky to land a job with CP Carpets as a junior carpet designer. I have worked at various manufacturers over my 17 year career, always working in custom hospitality design. I work directly with specifiers taking design briefs and seeing projects through from their initial stages to final production.
Coming from an interior architecture background, and having grown up in a family-run construction company, Kathryn was destined for a career in Design and the built environment. After a degree in Interior Architecture at Leeds College of Art & Design, Kathryn initially working for an Interior Architectural firm in Belfast (Soon Interiors), where she was involved in a variety of commercial design projects including bar, restaurant, retail and office spaces across the globe. The benefits of working in a relatively small company allowed Kathryn to lead the interior and spatial design of projects from concept through to site completion and gain a wide variety of experience.
She stepped into the niche world of carpet design at Ulster Carpets in 2011 and soon moved the London office to become a direct client-facing link between the sales team, the production team and many of the UKs top A&D firms and hoteliers. Immediately immersing herself in the design and hospitality industry, Kathryn originally joined the NEWH board as Hospitality Chair. This (and her ability to talk to absolutely anyone!!), has enabled her to build a large contact base of inspiring people across every aspect of the industry, as well as encouraging her to get involved in the UK Chapter’s marketing and events.
When she is not designing carpet, or freelancing interior/CAD work, she can usually be found uploading Instagrams of her latest escapades and planning her next adventure.
