Jonathan is a professional sales leader with over 30 years experience in the hospitality FF&E industry. He has been involved in sales, sales and marketing management, and senior director level positions at manufacturers providing product for the hotel and leisure sectors. His experience has been primarily with floorcovering and carpet, but he also has recent involvement with furniture.
As Chairman of the BCFA from 2011 until 2014, leading the Board of the trade association that supports the British Contract Furnishings Association, and currently as Vice President of the UK chapter of the NEWH, he has a good understanding of business within the hospitality and commercial markets.
His experiences have taken him across continents, working and living in the US and UK, and developing and executing growth strategies for businesses across international markets.
He is a creative thinker and believes in the importance of communication particularly when working with people from diverse cultures, and across all levels of a business. Jonathan is passionate about building the right environment to maximize teamwork and empower individuals to deliver against prescribed objectives and goals.
Jonathan’s leadership and management skills will help establish a clearly defined strategy for business and understand how it needs to be implemented for success. His contacts across the US and Europe can help navigate the transition process.

Diana is an experienced Senior Project Manager, specialising in FF&E and OS&E procurement. She started her career in hospitality eight years ago at Benjamin West London. Since then she has had the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious projects in Europe, including the famous Lanesborough Hotel in London.
Diana joined the NEWH Board of Directors in 2015 as a Membership Director, and later in 2017 as a Treasurer. Her passion for the industry and her energetic and positive attitude are helping NEWH to develop the UK chapter, and to deliver interesting and popular hospitality events.
Lynn has worked in the contract hospitality industry for over 30 years.
She has moved from an Interior design director/project manager into sales and business development within the fabric eliminate of our industry. Lynn is now Contracts Area Manager – Style Library Contract – with showrooms in New York, Paris, Germany, Russia –

Libby studied Interior Architecture & Design at Middlesex University in London and began her career designing retail outlets and spas for up-market cosmetics company Molton Brown. Since then she has gained considerable experience across a broad range of commercial interiors; from cosmetic and car showrooms to libraries, education centres and restaurants.
For the last 9 years, Libby has specialized in Hospitality, designing a series of luxury hotels and resorts for both individual owners and some of the world’s leading Operators. Now a Senior Designer Project Manager at G.A Design, based in the London Office, but working internationally across all 4 offices she is responsible for overseeing 1-2 projects at a time and each project from the initial design proposal through to final on-site completion. In her spare time she enjoys going to cinema, exploring markets and takes every opportunity to travel.
Kevin has over 24 years experience in the Interiors sector . He led his own Interior Design company for 10 years focusing on Residential and Hospitality projects in South Africa .
When he relocated to the UK in 2005 he moved into business development within the Hospitality supply sector.
Kevin is now Business Development manager for Northern Lights – a British Bespoke Lighting manufacturer that focusses on Hotel and Restaurant Lighting. Using his Interior Design experience, he is able to work closely with leading Architects and Designers to bring “Light to their projects”.
Kevin has been involved with the UK Chapter for just over 3 years and is Membership Director.
Having grown up in a family-run construction company, Kathryn was destined for a career in Design and the built environment. After a degree in Interior Architecture at Leeds College of Art & Design, Kathryn joined Soon Interiors, an Interior Architectural firm in Belfast where she was involved in a variety of commercial design projects across the globe.
Taking a change of direction and moving to London, she began a 6 year journey into the niche world of carpet design at Ulster Carpets, working with many of the UKs top A&D firms and hoteliers – one of whom would be her next employer. Now as an Interior Designer at AD Associates, Kathryn is involved in the design and FF&E for cruise ship interiors.
Her involvement in NEWH (and her ability to talk to absolutely anyone!!), has enabled her to build a large contact base of inspiring people across every aspect of the industry, and when she gets a spare moment, she can usually be found uploading Instagrams of her latest escapades and planning her next adventure.

Sarah’s interior design experience began in Bali, Indonesia where she designed luxury villas with Gfab Architects. Her passion for travelling the world for work and leisure has reinforced a sense that Interior Design should create a sense of place and both reflect and enhance the environment to which it belongs.
With a meticulous eye for detail, Sarah is highly motivated by the end goal of seeing projects come to life. Sarah prides herself in her technical knowledge and her understanding of construction processes and materiality. She has worked on a range of projects from high-end residential, to commercial and hospitality.
Sarah’s prior experience in the hospitality sector in high-end event planning and in luxury chalet management gives her a unique insight into the logistics of hospitality design, and she has a particular interest in restaurant and bar design.
Her experience includes concept design, space planning, CAD drawing, 3D modelling, presenting, FF&E selection, hardware specification, bespoke furniture and lighting design, including mock-up supervision, project management, on-site coordination and installation.
Sarah has joined the UK board as our student representative and looks forward to sharing her experiences with the students.
