Upon its completion in 1927, the LeVeque Tower in downtown Columbus, Ohio became the tallest building between New York and Chicago, readily identifiable to the ships passing in the night on the Scioto River. It makes sense, then, that when its new owners turned to the Gettys Group for branding and design of a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, a theme around \"beacon of hospitality\" soon emerged.
