CEU Course Description:
Overview of the different woods used in outdoor furniture and the functionality of each. Discussion of teak plantation farming and sustainability. Utilizing teak while designing outdoor spaces and the maintenance involved after installation.
Presenter Information:
Alissa has a degree in fashion and worked in the apparel/ fashion industry for over 10 years. Passionate about all aspects of design, Alissa pursued a position with the family of Gabriella White brands that incorporated previous experience with key account management. Alissa has been with Gabriella White for almost 5 years and is dedicated to providing furnishing solutions for designers, purchasing firms, and all other commercial applications.
Angela King joined Summerclassics in 2016 after 9 years with RH in the contract division. She is the territory representative for California and Hawaii. Angela is partners with her daughter owning Espionage, a gift store in Los Angeles. She has a passion for fashion, culinary creations, curating objet d’arts and hunting flea markets and estate sales for vintage finds!
Jerry is a certified Master Gardener with a botanical background and a passion for outdoor living/ entertaining. Joined the Gabriella White family September 2019, after leading the Contract team for the Williams Sonoma Brands for 5 years. Prior to WSI, Mr. Huettmann held the position of Account Executive NW for RH Contract.
