Position: Experienced Hospitality Carpet Designer – (Calhoun, GA Studio)

The company also imports additional products provided by select manufacturing partners, thereby extending the product offering to a wide-range of hospitality flooring, including: Axminster, Colorpoint, Infinity and Dye-Injected carpets and Hand Tufted area rugs. The company also specializes in providing the industry with unique and proprietary dyeing and custom finishing methods, that help to set the company’s products apart. Clients include all major branded and independent hoteliers, casinos, convention centers and multi-family housing residences.

We are interested in hiring an experienced hospitality carpet designer for our growing team. Position Responsibilities Include:
- The ability to creatively interpret from project design briefs
- Providing well conceived and carefully executed designs requiring minimal revision
- Adept at working quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple projects with varying levels of development work
- Proficient understanding of carpet installation planning, interfacing effectively with our Planning Department
- Frequently execute custom design collections to meet current and emerging market trends
- Engage with Product Development and Marketing on new product and collection launches.
Position Requirements:
- Fluency in woven Axminster carpet design (Texcelle software preferred); additional experience in the design of tufted Colorpoint and Infinity carpet technologies in addition to Handtufted rugs
- Minimum 3-5 years allied carpet design experience
- Bachelor’s degree and above desired
- Preferred geographic location for this position is in our Calhoun, GA Design Studio
