Couristan is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to be based in the Chicago Metropolitan market to include Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Missouri and Nebraska to help establish and maintain working relationships with new and existing clients. A competitive package includes a base salary with uncapped commission, full benefits, expense account, and generous paid time off.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hospitality and contract sales experience.
  • Proven work experience as an outside sales representative in the hospitality industry or in a similar sales environment.
  • Ability to drive specifications of products to a network of hospitality architects and interior designers.
  • Established hospitality relationships with broad client base.
  • Knowledge of the geographical market and the ability to manage and cover the market effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work with complex and long sales cycles.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Some carpet and/or Axminster carpet background preferred
