Personal Statement
I am a graduate student at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, specializing in mega-events, sustainable hospitality, and design innovation. My passion is creating experiences that blend creativity, wellness, and environmental responsibility. Through my research, I actively identify gaps within the hospitality and tourism industry and propose solutions that address both economic and ecological sustainability.
In addition to my academic work, I enjoy curating events that bring people together, exploring new cultures, and mentoring emerging talent. My vision is to contribute to an industry where design and hospitality not only serve but also inspire and give back to people, communities, and the planet.

Led high-profile events, sponsorship campaigns, and strategic partnerships for national initiatives. Oversaw stakeholder engagement and community-driven campaigns that elevated member visibility and industry impact.

Coordinated hospitality marketing and events for major brands, including Red Stripe and Supreme Ventures. Focused on building customer engagement strategies and creating experiential marketing activations.
Hospitality Graduate Assistant / Teaching Roles (FIU)
Supporting teaching in four hospitality and marketing courses, as well as my focus on research in Hospitality & Tourism Management, with a focus on mega-events, sustainability, and law/ethics in the industry.
My most excellent recognition to date has come through academic excellence and professional leadership opportunities, including earning my MBA with distinction and advancing through multiple promotions in events and sponsorships.
Although I have not yet received formal industry awards, I am committed to creating impactful, creative, and sustainable work that I believe will earn future recognition within the hospitality industry.
