SMCC is a dynamic learning environment with two campuses, offsite and online courses, more than 40 academic programs, credit and noncredit offerings, about 6,000 students and limitless opportunities.
Southern Maine Community College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. SMCC was reaccredited by NECHE in 2018.
The college accepts applications throughout the year. Campus tours and information sessions are held throughout the academic year, and staff are available to meet with prospective students anytime. You can also visit during our Fall and Spring Open Houses.
