Loomah launched ten years ago; we will be celebrating this at Decorex, the best worldwide Interior Design Exhibition on planet earth.

Andrew Cotgrove, after 13 years experience in the industry, wanted to offer a unique and personal service from start to finish, driven by a simple yet effective motto: ‘Any size, any shape, any colour’.

The point was to provide the whole package; from a very early idea, to the initial design process to the final, on-site installation and full after-sales support. Loomah’s philosophy is built around our love for innovation in materials and visionary design.

We are pioneers in quality and materials; in fact, we were one of the first companies in the UK to source bamboo yarn, having been shown it in one of our many material sourcing trips and instantly recognizing its many advantages. It has a beautiful sheen and lustre, and a delicacy that awakens memories of silk. It is one of the ‘greenest’ materials on the market – due to the prolific rate at which bamboo grows – therefore being very sustainable. We fell in love with it, and within a month of first seeing this yarn we managed to secure an order for 1,500 m² of this material, for the exclusive Montpelier Street Private Apartments, in Knightsbridge.

We pride ourselves on our huge design archive, which can be viewed on the web and used as the source of inspiration for projects; this, combined with our skill in understanding clients’ design concepts, gives us the ability to translate ideas into beautiful carpets.
