Founded in 1947 by brothers Bernard and Arnold Goldberg, Raymour & Flanigan began as a single downtown Syracuse, N.Y. showroom and has evolved into the largest furniture and mattress retailer in the Northeast. We started local and continue to operate with our local communities in mind.

Raymour & Flanigan has been a family business from the beginning. Seth Goldberg is currently the company’s president, succeeding his father, Neil Goldberg, who served as president and CEO from 1982 to 2021. In the nearly four decades under Neil’s leadership, Raymour & Flanigan experienced extraordinary growth, opening over 100 stores, hiring thousands of associates, and expanding into major markets like New York City and Philadelphia.
