The Culinary Institute of Virginia

The Culinary Institute of Virginia is ECPI University’s College of Culinary Arts. Located just off Interstate 64 at the North Military Highway exit, it’s centrally located near Norfolk International Airport.

A visit to Culinary Institute of Virginia (CIV) is a delight to the senses! The first thing you notice: the very pleasant aroma. Our Norfolk campus has six industrial-sized kitchens filled with professional, restaurant-quality equipment. There’s also a complete dining room and mixology lab where we simulate service scenarios.

Whether you aspire to be a chef, own your own bakery, or manage a major food operation, our curriculum has been tested and refined to meet the needs of employers who expect the best. Like our knives, we keep ourselves sharp, working closely with culinary professionals throughout the region.
