Sid Greene, the owner of Hardin Creek Timber Frame and Millwork(HC), is a second generation lumber man. As a young man growing up in Boone NC, Sid spent much of his time at his father’s wholesale lumber business. It was there he gained an appreciation of the value of customer satisfaction, honesty, integrity and most importantly doing what you promise.
He brought these values with him when he established HC in 2003. Initially the company specialized in the design and fabrication of custom handcrafted timber frames, The success of this endeavor enabled him to gradually expand the business to include offerings of millwork, poplar bark siding, woven handrails, specialty woods, trim and siding building supplies. Today besides offering these products, the company provides a wide variety of services:
