Office of Tangible Space

Office of Tangible Space is an interdisciplinary design studio grounded in a human-centric ethos. Founded by Michael Yarinsky and Kelley Perumbeti, we specialize in architecture, interiors, furniture and curation and range in scale from intimate objects to the urban. We have offices in Brooklyn and San Francisco.

Our spaces and objects create a dialogue with the people who use them and foster an interpersonal relationship with the immediate environment. We believe that curiosity, warmth, materiality, and play are essential to crafting spaces that invite connection. Our design aspires to evoke a sense of belonging. We hope to make you feel something through our work.

Our ethos is rooted in maintaining a connection to culture and community. We view our studio as part of a greater ecosystem that we hope to support. With projects like Cooler Gallery, Works In Progress, Design Advocates, and People In Places, we hope to contribute to our collaborative growth as a studio and to the greater design community.
