Amanda Tomlinson is an interior designer who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Interior Design and a business minor with honors from Florida State University. She currently works at Meyer Davis Studio located in New York City, where she designs for select hospitality, retail and residential commissions that require one-of-a-kind solutions. Her scope of work ranges from conceptual/schematic design, design development, design documentation and product specification. As a project manager at Meyer Davis, her goal is to facilitate the creation of alluring spaces that comfortably pair with the expectations of each client. She is a past recipient of the NEWH Sunshine Chapter Scholarship as well as the 2013 NEWH Icon of Industry recipient. Since moving to New York City in 2012, she has been actively involved with NEWH, and currently serves as the VP of Administration for the NEWH New York Chapter.

Tory Knoph is an interior designer who brings a unique, new perspective to Stonehill Taylor. Her experience includes hospitality work for both large brands and boutique hotels alike. Over the past few years, Tory has been a part of numerous major design projects, including the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Press Hotel in Portland, ME, and the Hilton Brooklyn, NYLO, and Refinery Hotel in New York. She has close working relationships with many FF&E vendors, ensuring that each project is developed with the latest and most innovative products currently available. She also loves brew hopping on the weekends and hanging with her dog in Battery Park City.

Laura Carter is a Sales Representative for Gmansales. She studied Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. With a desire to work in design, she moved to New York to begin her career in marketing at a commercial interior workplace design firm. Laura has been actively involved in NEWH since 2012 and currently serves as the Scholarship Chairperson for the NEWH New York Chapter.

Kristen Hagen

Scholarship

Kristen Hagen is an interior designer at Kraig Kalashian Architecture and Design (KKAD). She has been the lead designer on serval projects and has worked on all phases of design and construction during her four years with the company. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Raritan Valley Community College where teaches an interior design drawing course. Kristen graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology where she was the first alumna to receive an NCIDQ certification. Kristen is actively involved with a local cat rescue group and enjoys building furniture and searching for vintage décor in her spare time. She has been involved with the Scholarship Committee for the NEWH New York Chapter and is excited for her new role as Treasurer.
