The NEWH Las Vegas HOSPY Awards has gained national recognition as one of the most sought-after biannual fundraising events in the hospitality industry. Every other year, the best in hospitality design projects receive the prestigious HOSPY Award. Our chapter is fortunate to reside in the hospitality capital of the world, and the HOSPY’s allow us the perfect opportunity to recognize deserving firms that have changed the skyline of Las Vegas and other cities around the globe. In addition to the design competition, deserving icons in our local industry are awarded a HOSPY Industry Achievement Award. This award recognizes their contributions to shaping Las Vegas and their philanthropic efforts impacting our community.
The HOSPY Awards are the main fundraiser for NEWH Las Vegas, with proceeds funding NEWH’s mission of scholarship and education. It is a true gift to be able to honor the talent of today while raising money for the talent of tomorrow. Over the years, NEWH Las Vegas has awarded over $542,600 to Hospitality-focused students in Interior Design, Architecture, Hotel Management, and Culinary Arts.
