We are asking our NEWH community to come together in support of our colleague and friend, Kassi Moy, who was recently the innocent victim of a tragic road-rage shooting on US-285 near her home in Conifer, CO. She sustained a gunshot wound to the head, required emergency surgery, and remains in critical condition in the ICU.

A close friend and longtime industry partner, Sarah Churchill, shared the following:

“One of my long-time industry colleagues and truest of friends, Kassi Moy, was the innocent victim of a road-rage shooting on 11/11/25. She underwent emergency surgery and still remains in critical condition in the ICU. Kassi and I worked side-by-side as the ‘Dream Team’ for over eight years across two firms, and we’ve shared an incredibly close friendship for over ten years…she was even a bridesmaid in my wedding 3 years ago! Kassi is one of the most brilliant, steady, and quietly generous people I’ve ever known. She gives 110% in everything she does and never asks for anything in return.”

Kassi joined Benjamin West in April 2021 as Sr. Manager of Business Development and has been a dedicated member of the hospitality industry for over a decade. Beginning her career as an FF&E Project Coordinator in 2015, she advanced to Project Director while gaining extensive knowledge in design, manufacturing, and production through both domestic and international factory experience. She has also worked within the luxury contract and hospitality vendor sector, giving her a deep understanding of wholesale and direct-to-consumer distribution.

In her current role, she combines her boutique, luxury, and brand project expertise with her purchasing background to deliver exceptional value to her clients and colleagues. Kassi earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Nebraska, where she studied the intersection of Interior Design and Ecotourism.

Kassi has always shown up for our industry. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
