We are seeking an Intern to join our team! This could be a great occasion to learn more about interior design.
Job Description:
- Work closely with and provide technical support to Interior Designers with various project deliverables.
- Assist with the organization, sample ordering and upkeep of the material library.
- With direction from Interior Designers, contact and schedule representative meetings and product updates.
- Ability to render floor plans and elevations for client design board presentations
- Management and organization of CAD library
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of software: AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch-up, Microsoft Excel, Word
- Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills and knowledge of other building systems
- Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-discipline team
- A basic understanding and exposure to interior design concepts such as, space planning, Furniture, fixtures, and product research
- Will perform other project and duties as assigned
- It is highly desirable that the intern have at least 1-2 years of experience in interior design or related education. Interns must be actively enrolled in an accredited Interior Design program.
- Understanding of drafting, crafting plans and elevations in 2D CAD
