Join Louis Raymond, professional landscape designer and writer of “The Plant Geek, a Gardening Journal”, for a guided tour of NYC’s High Line, a spectacular urban garden and public park.
Since its 2009 opening, this linear park created on what used to be an elevated freight railroad, has become a major attraction along Manhattan’s West Side, running from West 34th Street to Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District.
This is a very special IFDA event, in partnership with NY NOW, THE Market for Home & Lifestyle (formerly the NYIGF) is a fundraiser for IFDA’s Educational Foundation. (Limited availability. Rain or shine.)
We will be meeting in the lobby of the Javits Convention Center’s Crystal Palace Lobby (at 35th Street and 11th Ave) on Saturday August 17, 2013 at 3:45pm. The tour will end at the south end of the High Line (at West 12th Street and 11th Ave).
Tickets: $35, with proceeds benefiting IFDA’s Educational Foundation. RSVP to IFDA at 212-686-6020, or email [email protected].
