Join Louis Raymond, professional landscape designer and writer of “The Plant Geek, a Gardening Journal”, for a guided tour of NYC’s High Line,¬†a spectacular urban garden and public park.

Since its 2009 opening, this linear park created on what used to be an elevated freight railroad, has become a major attraction along¬†Manhattan’s¬†West Side, running from¬†West 34th Street¬†to¬†Gansevoort Street¬†in the Meatpacking District.

This is a very special IFDA event, in partnership with NY NOW, THE Market for Home & Lifestyle (formerly the NYIGF) is a fundraiser for IFDA’s Educational Foundation.¬†(Limited availability. Rain or shine.)

We will be meeting¬†in the lobby of the¬†Javits¬†Convention Center’s Crystal Palace Lobby (at 35th Street and 11th Ave) on¬†Saturday August 17, 2013 at 3:45pm. The tour will end at the south end of the High Line (at West 12th Street and 11th Ave).
