Woodline is a reflection of its German Namibian founder, Fritz Walter, who has spent most of his life in the great outdoors. From fishing for a living in the Atlantic and off Alaska, to farming cattle and game in the Highveld of South Africa, Fritz can’t get enough of life outside. His experiences have taught him that to live, work and relax outside you need well designed and professionally made products. As a trained engineer, Fritz has an unrivaled knowledge and understanding built up during his past 30 years of experience of establishing Woodline Shade Solutions as the market leader in Africa as well as a leading competitor in the global market.

At Woodline we are proud to manufacture each of our products ourselves in our own factories, making sure that each piece meets our high standard of excellence, whilst providing jobs and opportunities to skilful artisans.
