Hackney Furniture – Louisville, TN (Knoxville area)

Hackney Furniture is looking for an experienced and results-oriented National Sales Manager to accelerate our growth as an industry leader. Hackney Furniture is a manufacturer of custom case goods primarily for the hospitality industry. Our products are proudly made in East Tennessee. The National Sales Manager will be based at the Hackney Furniture headquarters in Louisville, TN (Knoxville area) and will make frequent day trips to the manufacturing facility located in Sneedville, TN.

In this position, you will take on many different responsibilities. These may include sales forecasting, setting goals, hiring and training new representatives, sourcing leads, and all marketing activities. You will attend trade shows and gather information from potential customers that may benefit the product development team. You are ultimately responsible for both sales growth and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and manage independent and inside sales representatives
  • Set goals and support your team in meeting them
  • Source new sales leads
  • Implement sales strategies
  • Manage our relationship with major clients
  • Marketing: Oversee and provide direction for all marketing efforts including but not limited to:
    • Social media
    • Print
    • Website
    • Trade shows

Requirements:

  • Extensive travel
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales within the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency with CRM software
