Maya Romanoff – Florida Territory

The Maya Romanoff FL Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing FL territory sales and maintaining our high level of service excellence. The FL Sales Manager reports to the President.

Roles & Responsibilities:

These responsibilities include everything encompassing the FL territory including outside sales, local marketing and promotion opportunities, and building a large base of repeat clients. They will be knowledgeable and aware of the market trends and competitors, analyzing and recommending areas for business growth and improved sales.

  • Manage all sales from current and future local Florida clients and assisting all clients with their projects.
  • Process and generate sales from the account list and co-managed accounts.
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers by executing sales activity in a manner that maximizes value to the customer and opportunities for MAYA
  • Develop and maintain account plans for the territory to ensure accounts are identified and developed to their potential.
  • Engage with clients and maintain accounts by scheduling weekly outside sales calls and presentations, targeting a minimum of 12 per week
  • Document all sales calls and engagements in the CRM and review the plans, activities, and outcomes with the President and Director of Sales Operations.
  • Communicate with internal and external clients regarding (but not limited to) order status, pricing, sample requests, delivery confirmations, stock inquiries, and installations
  • Plan market research and monitor market sector and competitor activity to provide feedback to management to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, tradeshows, and customer events as necessary to support sales initiatives.
  • Maintain territory’s open opportunities using CRM software, running regular reports and log all calls and communications per company policy.
  • Increase sales volume, maximize profits, and improve customer service levels.
  • Build relationships through local marketing efforts and build a repeat customer base.
  • Perform regular territory reports and analysis to sales and management team
  • Participate in weekly Check-in meeting and Monthly Management meeting
  • Work with Director of Marketing, Director of Sales Operations, and President to help influence sales.
  • Handling all leads and opportunities within the territory.
  • Work directly with clientele and follow up to ensure all needs are met and takes priority.
  • Maintain high service standards, create a positive client experience, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Adhering to all company procedures and policies.
  • Represent the company’s best interests in all individual actions.
  • Any special projects and additional duties as assigned by manager or Maya Romanoff leadership

  • Knowledge of shipping / freight / expediting orders
  • Minimum 5 years management and sales record
  • The ideal candidate should possess proven sales success, coupled with design experience and excellent communication skills. A degree in interior design or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience in high-end design sales preferred
