Black Hoteliers & Investors Association

The Black Hoteliers & Investors Association (BH&IA) is a membership-based, nonprofit trade association for the emerging domestic market (EDM) of independent, Black-owned boutique hotels & resorts, and the organizations investing in their brands.

It is BH&IA’s mission to ensure proper capitalization of this previously untapped market of the hospitality industry – growing its size from 0.01%, or 92 properties (2023) to 13%, 650 hotels & resorts by 2061. The BH&IA provides its owner and investor members with the model to scale unique hospitality brands, their profits and collective impact.
